Pallet Collars & Extensions
Hinged Pallet Collars
Pallet collars are hinged wooden frames that sit on top of a standard pallet and fold flat when not in use. Stack multiple collars to build walls of any height, effectively turning a pallet into a reusable box or bin. They are widely used in automotive parts logistics, agricultural harvesting, and manufacturing environments where reusable containers reduce packaging waste.
Our collars are built from kiln-dried pine with galvanized steel hinges. Standard sizes match GMA 48x40 and Euro 800x1200mm pallets. Custom collar sizes are available with a minimum order of 50 units.

Pallet Collar Lids
Pair your pallet collars with matching plywood lids to create a fully enclosed, stackable shipping container. Lids prevent dust, debris, and moisture from reaching your product during storage and transit, and they allow safe stacking of loaded collar assemblies.
Lids are available in standard plywood or moisture-resistant OSB. For outdoor storage or weather-exposed applications, we offer lids with waterproof coatings.
Pallet Covers & Shrink Wrap
Pallet covers and stretch film are essential for protecting loads from dust, moisture, UV exposure, and tampering during storage and transit. We supply both disposable and reusable options.
Stretch Film
Machine-grade and hand-wrap stretch film in 60, 70, and 80 gauge. Pre-stretched film options reduce material usage by up to 30 percent. Available in clear, black (UV-blocking), and colored options for inventory identification.
Shrink Bags & Hoods
Full pallet shrink bags and top-sheet shrink hoods provide tamper-evident, weatherproof protection. Shrink film conforms tightly to irregular loads for a secure, professional appearance.
Reusable Covers
Heavy-duty vinyl and canvas pallet covers with drawstring or Velcro closures. Designed for repeated use in outdoor storage yards where pallets sit exposed to rain, sun, and wind. Typical lifespan of 2 to 3 years.
Corner Protectors & Edge Boards
Corner protectors and edge boards serve two critical functions. First, they distribute the pressure of strapping and banding across a wider surface area, preventing strap cuts from damaging your product or crushing carton corners. Second, they add stacking strength, allowing loaded pallets to be safely stacked higher in warehouses and trailers.
We supply corner protectors in recycled cardboard, solid fiberboard, and plastic. Cardboard corner protectors are the most economical and are suitable for most general-purpose applications. Solid fiberboard edge boards provide superior crush resistance for heavy or high-value loads. Plastic corner protectors are reusable and ideal for closed-loop operations.
L-Shape Corner Protectors
Standard 90-degree L-shaped protectors in 2x2, 3x3, and 4x4 inch profiles. Lengths from 24 to 96 inches. Wrap around corners to prevent strap damage and add column strength.
U-Shape Edge Boards
U-shaped profiles that slide over edges for 3-sided protection. Ideal for furniture, appliances, glass panels, and other products with vulnerable edges. Available in cardboard and plastic.
Dunnage & Blocking
Dunnage is the material used to fill voids, block movement, and cushion products within a pallet load or shipping container. Proper dunnage is the difference between products arriving intact and a costly damage claim. We supply a range of dunnage materials suited to different applications and budgets.
Wood blocking and bracing uses dimensional lumber cut to specific lengths to immobilize heavy items on pallets. This is standard practice for shipping machinery, engines, and large industrial components. We cut blocking to your specifications and can pre-assemble dunnage kits for consistent packing across your operation.
For lighter applications, we supply foam sheets, corrugated partitions, and air-pillow void fill. Foam dunnage is particularly useful for electronics, medical devices, and precision equipment where vibration dampening is critical.
Anti-Slip Pads
Anti-slip pads are thin sheets of high-friction material placed between layers of product on a pallet to prevent shifting, sliding, and toppling during transit. They are one of the most cost-effective ways to improve load stability without adding strapping or stretch film.
Our anti-slip pads are made from recycled paper coated with a silica-based grip compound that delivers a coefficient of friction up to four times higher than plain cardboard. They weigh almost nothing, add minimal cost, and can be recycled with regular paper and cardboard.
Anti-slip pads are especially valuable for pallets of shrink-wrapped cases, plastic totes, corrugated boxes, and any load where the contact surfaces are smooth. For San Diego businesses shipping to destinations involving steep grades or mountain passes, anti-slip pads provide an added margin of safety.

Installation and Usage Guides
Pallet Collar Installation
- Place the folded collar on a flat surface next to the pallet
- Unfold the collar by lifting each hinged panel to 90 degrees until all four sides are upright
- Set the collar squarely on the pallet deck so all four edges align with the pallet perimeter
- For multi-tier setups, stack additional collars directly on top with corner posts aligned
- Place the lid on the top collar and press firmly into the recessed edge guides
- Secure the entire assembly with a single wrap of stretch film if shipping by truck
Maximum 6 collars high. Do not exceed 2,000 lbs per assembled collar bin.
Corner Protector Application
- Position the corner protector vertically on the pallet load corner
- Ensure the protector extends from the top of the load to at least the first strapping point
- For full-height protection, use protectors that span the entire height of the load
- Run strapping or banding directly over the corner protector to lock it in place
- Tension the strap to the recommended 40 to 60 lbs of force for cardboard protectors
- For reusable plastic protectors, secure with hook-and-loop straps at top and bottom
Use 4 corner protectors minimum per pallet for unitized loads. Use 8 for high-value or fragile loads.
Anti-Slip Pad Placement
- Place one anti-slip pad directly on the pallet deck before loading the first layer
- Between each layer of product, add one anti-slip pad sized to cover the full footprint
- Ensure the coated (rough) side faces up for maximum grip against the product surface
- For partial-coverage applications, cut pads to size with scissors or a utility knife
- Add a final pad on top of the last layer before wrapping with stretch film
Anti-slip pads increase the coefficient of friction by 3 to 4 times compared to bare cardboard. Recyclable with paper and cardboard.
Stretch Film Wrapping
- Anchor the film at the base of the pallet by wrapping it around one corner post or stringer
- Walk around the pallet making overlapping passes, stretching the film 100 to 150 percent for maximum holding force
- Apply 3 to 5 wraps at the base where the load meets the pallet deck surface
- Spiral upward with each wrap overlapping the previous by at least 50 percent
- Apply 3 to 5 wraps at the top to secure the upper portion of the load
- Tear or cut the film and press the tail against the wrapped surface to seal
Pre-stretched film uses 30% less material. Machine wrapping produces more consistent results for high-volume operations.
Bulk Pricing and Kit Assembly
All accessories qualify for volume discounts starting at relatively low quantities. Stretch film and anti-slip pads see the most significant per-unit savings at bulk volumes, often 20 to 30 percent below retail pricing for pallet-quantity orders.

We pre-assemble your exact combination of accessories (for example, 4 corner protectors, 3 anti-slip pads, and 1 collar with lid) into a ready-to-use kit that ships with your pallet order. This saves your warehouse crew assembly time and ensures consistency across every load.
