How Pallet Delivery Works
SD Re Pallet does not own trucks. Delivery and pickup are available through partner suppliers in our network, who use their own vehicles and drivers. When you send a request, we pass it to a supplier that serves your area, and they confirm timing and delivery charges with you.
If your site has no dock or forklift, say so in your request. Some suppliers have trucks with an onboard forklift or liftgate that can unload at ground level, and knowing your setup up front helps the supplier send the right equipment.
Flatbed Trucks
Commonly used for larger loads to warehouses, distribution centers, and manufacturing facilities with dock or forklift access.
Stake-Bed and Box Trucks
Often used for smaller orders and locations without dock access, such as ground-level sites, construction sites, and temporary facilities.
Forklifts and Liftgates
Some trucks carry a piggyback forklift or have a liftgate for unloading where there is no dock. Ask for this in your request if you need it.

Our network focuses on San Diego County, from Oceanside and Carlsbad in the north to Chula Vista and Otay Mesa in the south, and east to El Cajon, Santee, and Escondido. That includes the main industrial zones, commercial districts, and warehouse corridors in the San Diego market.

Urgent Delivery Requests
We understand that supply chain emergencies happen. A key shipment comes in early, a customer changes their order, or your pallet inventory drops faster than expected. If you need pallets quickly, mark your request as urgent and include your deadline.
Rush availability depends on each supplier's truck schedule and stock, and rush runs may cost more. Submit your request marked urgent, and a partner supplier will follow up about what is possible.
Loading & Unloading Assistance
Whether the driver unloads for you, and where they can place pallets, depends on the partner supplier and the truck they send. Tell us up front if you have a dock, a forklift, or neither, and where you want the pallets placed.
For pickups, it helps to have pallets stacked and reasonably accessible so loading goes quickly. If your site has tight dock areas, narrow aisles, or limited yard space, describe it in your request so the supplier can plan.

How Delivery Is Charged
Delivery charges are quoted by the partner supplier who takes your order. They usually depend on distance, order size, site access, and timing, and larger orders sometimes include delivery. Ask for delivery to be itemized in your quote so you can compare options.
What to Confirm With Your Delivery Supplier
Arrival Window and Updates
Ask for an estimated arrival window and whether the driver will call ahead. If you need a delivery record for your files, ask what confirmation the supplier provides.
Insurance
If your site requires it, ask the partner supplier for a certificate of insurance (COI) before the delivery date. Requirements are agreed directly between you and the supplier.
Unloading Equipment
Check what the truck will bring if you do not have a dock or forklift. Common options include:
